poetry response

"Fat is Not a Fairy Tale" is a good poem it is about someone who wishes that in fairytales there were fat princess instead of skinny ones. I believe that this is a good poem because it is criticizing to some big (overweight) girls. Fairytales make them think because they are fat they can’t be a princess but this poem helps a lot and I think it will bring up some of their confidence. This poem tells that some people don’t think that all people are skinny and that you should not make them as if they are. If you don’t believe me read it for yourself.

The situation

One afternoon while Keri Hilson was driving along I-40 she spotted someone along the side of the road trying to wave her down. When she was young her mom had warned her about people like that and told her never to stop for them. But this one particular time she couldn’t help it she thought it looked like Cleopatra she thought her eyes were playing tricks on her so she pulled over to take a look. What she saw was a surprise to her it was Cleopatra. She almost fainted as she rolled her window down enough to talk to her.

fill in the blank poem

love is to open sky as
loathing is to black clouds
love can be like
a peaceful day
loathing can be like
a wildfire when its raining gasoline
are you wondering if I love you
or if I loath you
donn't be afraid because
up is like down if live has
anything to do with it
